Introduction
I am currently a second semester Masters Student at Clemson University Studying Automotive Engineering with an emphasis on Vehicle Performance. I got my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Minor in Engineering Management. I am deeply passionate about motor racing and is why I was a part of the CU Boulder Formulas SAE team during my undergrad, and currently on the Clemson Formula SAE team. My current work on the Clemson Formula SAE team is in suspension compliance and its effect on the driving kinematics and driver feel.
My aspirations are to work in motor racing as a race engineer. I find this area the most intriguing due to its necessity to communicate with both the driver and engineers to help set the car up for optimal performance for the driver’s driving style and ability. I also find it the most interesting because it requires constant problems solving to give the driver what they want with the adjustments available while still maximizing the cars potential performance.
